2021 Entrepreneurship Academy Final Projects

Carbondale Technology Transfer Center Entrepreneurship Academy

When our Entrepreneurship Academy course was postponed due to COVID-19 we were set on finding a way to continue the program, so, we went virtual! Over the course of the last few months students at Carbondale Area, Forest City Regional, and Western Wayne took part in a virtual course taught by local entrepreneurs and business resource professionals giving them advice on becoming an entrepreneur and guiding them to complete a marketing campaign video project. The goal of each school’s project was for the students to team up with a local small business and film a marketing video for promotional use.

The first video we would like to share with you is from the Forest City Entrepreneurship Academy featuring Eva’s Play Pups! Please be sure to share their video and show them your support!! Congratulations to the FC-EA on a fantastic final project!

The second video we would like to share with you is from the Carbondale Area Entrepreneurship Academy featuring the Peanut Bar! Please be sure to share their video and show them your support!! Congratulations to the CA-EA on a fantastic final project!

A special treat from Carbondale Area’s Entrepreneurship Academy class, a young entrepreneur! When we presented the group projects for this year’s course this student took advantage! Take a look at OC’s Cleaning Service, a business run by Carbondale Area Student, Olivia Christian. You can contact Olivia at 570-878-4204 to schedule cleaning services! Great job on your video, we wish you all the success in your future as an entrepreneur!

Congratulations to all of this year’s Entrepreneurship Academy students, we know that it was a very difficult year to keep adapting and changing, but you all overcame those challenges and did a phenomenal job throughout the course! We will you all the best of luck in your future endeavors!

We would also like to extend a very large thank you to our Entrepreneurship Academy sponsors for 2021, the PPL Corporation and NEP Telephone. Without the generosity of these businesses, the Academy would not be possible.
